In almost every case, yes – and often better. Our dedicated server infrastructure is sized for ProfitIT Plus performance, so project costing, time recording and reporting all run consistently across the team.
How do we access ProfitIT Plus in the cloud?
Your team connects to a hosted Windows desktop environment via a lightweight client or browser. ProfitIT Plus looks and behaves exactly as it does locally – the only difference is it’s running on our servers. Cisco Duo MFA is required at login.
How is the migration from our existing server handled?
We manage the entire migration – data export, environment configuration, import and testing – planned around your schedule. Cutover is typically completed outside business hours, with full testing before go-live and your existing environment left in place until you’re satisfied.
What happens to our ProfitIT Plus data in a disaster scenario?
Your environment is backed up daily and retained for 30 days. In the event of a serious infrastructure incident, our recovery time objective is 4 hours – your team can be back up and running within half a working day. We test our recovery procedures regularly.
Who manages Windows updates and ProfitIT Plus upgrades in the cloud?
We handle all Windows patching, server maintenance and security hardening at platform level. For ProfitIT Plus version upgrades, we work with you to plan each release, test it where appropriate and deploy it on a schedule that avoids your busy periods.
Can we add or remove users as our team changes?
Yes. Hosted ProfitIT Plus access is billed per-user per-month, so you can scale up during busy periods and scale back when demand drops. New users are typically provisioned within one working day, pre-configured with the right access.
