Will Sage 50 perform as well in the cloud as on our local server?
In almost every case, yes – and typically better. Our dedicated server infrastructure is sized specifically for Sage 50 multi-user performance, so month-end runs, VAT returns and reporting all stay fast even with the whole finance team on at once.
How do we access Sage 50 in the cloud?
Your team connects to a hosted Windows desktop environment via a lightweight client or browser. Sage 50 looks and behaves exactly as it does locally – the only difference is it’s running on our servers. Cisco Duo MFA is required at login.
How is the migration from our existing Sage installation handled?
We manage the entire migration – data export, environment configuration, import and testing – planned around your schedule. Cutover is typically completed outside business hours or over a weekend to avoid clashing with month-end, with full testing before go-live.
What happens to our Sage data in a disaster scenario?
Your Sage environment is backed up daily and retained for 30 days. In the event of a serious infrastructure incident, our recovery time objective is 4 hours – your finance team can be back up and running within half a working day. We test our recovery procedures regularly.
Who manages Sage version upgrades and Windows updates in the cloud?
